I like the idea of making cute moodboards, but in practice I found it much more difficult than it needed to be. Online image editors are bulky and loaded with ads. Sourcing images usually involves a Pinterest trawl which is agony without an account. And I'll still have to open my own desktop editor anyway just to put images into a square without a watermark. I figured that it couldn't be too hard to make an in-browser tool that accomplished my very manageable needs.

All images come pre-cropped to a size of 150 by 150 px. Images can be filtered by color or theme by using the tag list on the left side of the screen. I don't like images with real people in focus so there won't be any - the most I tolerate is shadowy figures.

To the best of my knowledge, all images here were created by a real person via photography, illustration, 3D modelling, etc. If I have reason to believe otherwise I will remove the offending image.

The majority of images are taken from sites that offer stock images or images liscenced under the Creative Commons, like openverse or pexels. You can view the source of any image in a new tab by clicking the src link below it.

If the image is from an existing TV show, movie, manga, etc., the source will link to a third-party database with the title and other information.

Sometimes I won't be able to help myself and the source will be from Pinterest or another social media post. Regardless I will still do my best to link an appropriate source.
